They now have an Exo Terra Day Glo/Sun Glo Neodymium Daylight Lamp on timer to give them 12 hours daylight and then an Exo Terra Night Glo Moonlight Lamp in a new hole that I had made in the centre of the top glass panel, to give them 12 hours night light. The temps on a stat are set at 90f during the day with a 15 degree drop to 75f at night. The heat mat is on all the time to stabilize the temps.
The waterfall with the fogger, again on timer, has evened out the humidity to 65%-75%. They are eating brown (QUIET!) crickets and large hoppers on alternate feeds. They have really settled in well now and are out hunting for food as soon as the lighting changes from day to night mode. They are really active in the viv and make alot of noise leaping around in there. The female is particularly mobile when food is around! They are still quiet, vocally, but I expect/hope that to change around breeding time next year. |
