At last my eastern collareds have started to hatch and i am over the moon .

sorry about the pic quality, also tried to get the new hatchling pygmy chams but too small for my camera skills to get a good pic of them.

RRRRR they are lovely. Hopefully mine (once layed) will be like that. How long were they in incubaton for and what was the temps? I can hardly find anything about incubation so any help would be great. Good luck with them and them pygmy chams

Thanks cat and congrats on another hedgehog baby ,

Hi denis,I incubated at 29c and they took 67 days for these 2 to hatch,i have 6 more eggs still doing nothing yet,
I know when i was researching it said best temps were around 83/86f although high 70's to 90's was ok,it also said they will hatch in 40/60 days so mine at 67 i was started to worry just a little.
There is people on here who will know better than me about breeding collareds as this is my first attempt,Maybe in another several years i could say do this and that but until i have mastered them i will still class myself as a novice.

goodluck with yours,
