Smile My new Geckos

I bought my geckos a few days ago but have no idea what type they are or how old they are. All i know is they are some kind of ground gecko. Can anyone give me a clue from the photos? Also before anyone mentions it i am moving them off sand and onto reptile carpet asap. When i bought them they came with sand. I have read up on impacting and have decided to change.

They look like Stenos. If they are stenos they really need to be on sand. They get really stress if they arent. Have you got any close up pictures

Default Problem Solved

Thank you so much for all your help. That website link was really helpful. They are Stendoactylus Sthenodactylus.

What you have are S. Sthenodactylus. the need to be kept on about 3 inches of sand, with a basking spot of around 33 degrees (or a hot end, the debates on basking spots is long going). The are a colony gecko so like to be kept in groups, and cant be kept with more the one male per group as well as they done fight, although there will be a pecking order.

They dont need UV, but do like all reptiles need their food sprinkled with nutrobol and calcium.

I dont know if you've kept any other reptile before but these arnt really the best starter gecko going, but saying that these are the first gecko i owned as well; i kept S. Petrii.
