my mysterious gecko
hello! im new here, i keep tropical fish, FBT's, tree frogs, and this little gecko.
my friend recently gave it to me, after he had to downsize his collection. it has a bit of a story to it: about 18 months ago, the local vet rang my friend, and asked him to come down to the practice (the vet knows my friend is into all this) apparently, a couple had been on holiday to spain, i think (driving) and when they came back, they serviced their car, and found this little guy in the airbox! i dont have a clue how they caught it, as it is stupidly fast. but anyway, the vet gave it to my friend, as spain is quite far away. and now my friend has given it to me. heres a pic. any info would be great. (ive had it about 3 months, and its fine on small live foods, which is what my mate fed it on aswell.   spilz

to me they look more like a normal lizard then a gecko family i mean i thought geckos had fat ass tales

No its definitely a gecko. You can generally tell how they need to be kept by their features, strange as it sounds. Marina
