Awww thanks again everyone for your comments! yes I ( of course) think hes lovely but its nice to know everyone else likes him too, cos hes a lovely lizard, hes got a great personality you should have seen him with one of them loc tubs on his head the other day it looked so funny!

yes its very hard to landscape is viv all nice cos he just digs the tank up and messes it all up!

yes I can see what you mean there maxine it does look like a cat! you should have seen him with his egg last night he loves it so much!

No way! They love things to do, and are so intelligent, they should have plenty of stimulating bits in the cage. Even if all they do do is destroy them!

yes my fiance is currently washing rocks to put in his viv at least he won't be able to brake them!

yes rich is always trying new things to keep him busy! I can see where you both are coming from tho cos its good to add stuff but its kinda wasting money spending loads on stuff cos he will just have it within a few mintues!

hes about 18 months or so and hes 2 foot 5 actually we measured him lastnight.

have you hibernated him? he should be about 3.5 ft for that age if not hibernated
my tegu is 8 months old and 24 inches he hasnt been hibernated though

i have used cardboard boxes for don hide and now, as someone else said, i use cork bark pieces. easy solution and cork bark or cardboard boxes are both cheap to get hold of

nope we haven't, he have only had him about 6 months I think, 18 months might not be his actual age tho the shop told us he was that age but he was tiny when we got him.
