id say he`d be a year old then ,tegus at 18 months should be nearly fully grown if not hibernated

well he has alot to grow yet and its much more cost efficient just making hides for them. just saves having to keep replacing them, because you can never find one to last them forever cuz they prefer closed in spaces anyway so they'd ratehr have something closed in around them and just keep upgrading it, and its easier to do with cardboard or corkbark.

I was just trying to find a pic of when we got him just hes defo twice the size he was around a foot or so I think when we got him.
if I find it I will post it up for you.

yes it would be better tbh with you blazey altho it may look crap with us making it!


do you have a pic of your 18 month old martin please???

pic of him when we brought him and its dated september so thats when we got him.

I think they said about 14 months or so when we got him and with us never owning a tegu we didn't really see why he wouldn't be altho I did think he would have been near fully grown, but I wasn't sure.

you can buy those big igloo plastic houses for rabbits. Ive never owned a tegu though so im not sure if they sleep curled up or in a straight line lol. Don has cork bark shaped into a long straight cave at the moment.
