Default Stenodactylus pics and vid!

Did a full clean on my steno's today. They are separated by a divide, 4 on one side 3 on the other.

The video is of Spec, one of my top male's showing Scamp who's boss. he is housed with 1 male (scamp) and two females. It is natural for them to behave this way and spec is not hurting Scamp. You can house males of this species together and Spec is merely re-establishing his dominance over the group since i had just cleaned them out and re-arranged the ornaments and hides.
It's better if you full view it (click the bottom right hand corner icon of the vid box).

oh any background noise you hear is my beardy being mental, and if you listen you an here Scamp peep. I love their little calls.
It starts with Spec doing his little diggy thing, they love to do this when ive just cleaned the tank.lol

What size is the tank? We were thinking of getting some, the video may have just defo'd it! Could we use a 45x45x45 exo terra for a few? is that fair, or should there be a large colony in larger tank?

45x45 is fine, dont really need the heigh but it does'nt matter. Probably get 6 or 7 in there nicely providing they have plenty of hides (had to get the ruler out to judge).lol
Great thing about them is you can house males together, but only one male gets to mate.
I had just the 4 before and i had one top male, now i have more ive divided them so i get babies with different blood that i can mate in future.
I got two eggs from one of Spec's females but they were her first and were infertile. She's layed since and it's fertile but im having to leave it in the tank as it's stuck to the bottom of the tank. The sand is deep but never deep enough! lol I'll have to keep a watch on it and hope i get to the hatchling before they do just incase.
She's gravid again and so is a female in the other side of the divide.

Wow, think they are the ones for us!! We can divide the height up with second floor/ladders can we? would they use the height then? We don't know of anywhere in ireland that has them yet though..
