Leila,you know the latin name of the species?Is it Acanthosaura armata?Did you manage to find captive-bred ones?It is indeed a beautiful species,congrats!

yes they are captive bred the shop owner told me they were, I have personally no reason to believe other wise they are very very tame and very healthy looking.

most of us english folks dont use latin names but they do come in handy when searching for the more rarer reptiles

thanks, they are in great condition and very calm.




I think they are Acanthosaura crucigera I am not sure I was looking on this site for mountain horned dragons and mine look like them, mine are the smallest ones you can get I think mine are fully grown at like the female is about 8 to 9 inches and the males 11 to 12 inches thats why I was saying to max about babies soon hopefully lol.

What are your keeping parameters?Similar to CWD or with cooler temps?
