Default New Tokays =] Also

a big thanks to Ultimate Aquatics in Cupar... and their staff... for letting me go in and have a good handle and look at their tokays =] and for letting me bring them home.

We've named them Eric (the darker purple male looking one) and Shelly (the powder blue)

They are just young, and are being quarantined at the moment but both are doing great.... I couldn't believe how tame they were
Gave them a two day settling in but couldn't resist a couple of piccies tonight....

So here we are... piccies

Shelly took a nip in the shop.... and eric took a quick snap tonight but settled down

If you look at my previous posts, and my POTM entry from last month... you'll see i'm no stranger to tokays A bit of blood doesn't bother me.

These two are seriously so tame compared to Sykes

How much are Tokays usually?

They're growing in popularity at the moment. You can usually pick up wild caught (which i dont believe in) pretty cheap. I got mine for £30 for the two which is awesome for a CB pair.
CB are becomming more available but are usually a bit more pricey... but not much.

They are lots of fun however lots of work to keep tame(ish)

Right i see, why are they soo cheap? Is it because they are aggressive?
