I actually don't know what to say.....no wait I do.

I love reptiles just as much as any one here. If I find one that I don't know I will catch it, firstly to find out what it is, and secondly of course to show you guys.

I was a Police officer and rescued snakes and other reptiles from houses, schools etc when people like the Fire Brigade wouldn't. I helped to relocate over a hundred Nile Crocodiles. I will still do that if asked. People actually bring reptiles to my business that I release on my farm or Wildlife reserve that borders the Kruger National Park where I know they will be safe.

I am not a poacher and do my bit for anti-poaching, sponsoring some of there events and pay levies on my property to help employ a team of anti-poaching operatives. Please don't insinuate that I am.

Both these lizards that actualy live freely in the wild(my garde) was back there long before you wrote this unwanted remark. I can chase them out of the wild(my garden) deeper into my farm(agriculture-active) if you want.

If you want to talk/sound about ethics/ethical: I see you have a Bearded Dragon. How do you think you were able get one. There predecessors also comes from the wild.

You Sir are rude and uninformed. You should have taken the nightmare out of rednecknightmare, when you registered yourself for this forum. I will think twice before I share something here again.

Rednecknightmare - have you never gone searching for frogs, toads or anything else in your back garden?
I spent my childhood doing so and it taught me a lot about nature and how the native wildlife lives. Anyone is entitled to take a few photos of what they found - grow up.

bushkey take no notice hun.

there was no need to be offensive by calling him a '*** head'. What is that going to achieve??? absolutely nothing

he was unsure of what they were and was simply asking a question. For all he knew they might not have been native and been escaped pets... it does happen you know. and yes people still keep reps in south africa.. Releasing non native animals into delicate eco systems can cause problems for natives (grey squirells in england.just for a quick example have nearly entirely wiped out the smaller reds due to competition etc)

I just think the way you went about that was attrocious rednecknightmare. No need to talk to anybody like that

sorry for seeming angry guys just hate ill manners

Katie

awwwww... that must be amazing to have those wee lizards roaming around your garden. I know when we went to southern spain seeing the lizards run up the walls was our fave passtime.. and when we went to Goa i was in the trees using the loo ( as u do when theres no real toilets) .. i ran out the woods shouting " a dinasour birds just attacked me "

here is what it looked like....

i still blush at how stupid i was !!

That is why I initially thought it was family of the BD's. He was very friendly and quite tame.
