Default Common lizard

OK so not terribly exciting but I was staying with my brother near Rame Head in Cornwall last week and came across this little common lizard sunning itself on a tree stump. It was completely unfazed by everyone walking past so I took this (awful quality) photo with my mobile, just in case anyone was interested. I was, it was beautiful and all the more so because it stayed put instead of diving for cover. It's obviously realised that all the people walking by are far more interested in the beach than a lil' ole lizard!

The pic turned out well for a mobile mate. Always nice to see the local reptiles, makes a change from all the foreigners on here!

Our cat used to bring in ones a bit like that from off the mountain behind us. She never hurt them, but the first we ever knew about one in the house was the odd tail here and there, then we had to go find the poot thing so we could put it back outside. They were usually behind the sofa which is up against the radiator in the lounge

She used to do the same with mice as well, bring em in and let em run, buggers to catch, but they do like a bit os snickers
