just to let you know the payment for these mack snows hasnt arrived in my paypal.. i phoned paypal and they have said the payment has been cancelled by the sender ( you)

i tired contacting you but cant get through on your mobile...

have recived payment of 77.08p from your mate thanks...

i also got an email from paypal stating that there had not been enough funds in account when initial payment was sent.. so that must have been the problem... it was urgent as i said only because i owed the cash to ballpie for the serpenco hatchlings i am getting from him... usually when using paypal a person sends a wee bit extra to cover costs ( im doing that with ballpie) anyway if im down 3 quid fair dos....

I have just recieved a really cheeky message from you scott...

I explained that when using paypal most people when buying reps send a bit extra to cover fees.. you agreed and sent me 82 pounds... which was cancelled by your bank and u said you did not have funds... you then got a friend to send cash to me... 3 quid short and when i explained that was ok but not fair you were really nasty.... you said would u rather be 3 quid short or wait another week for payment

then u sent me a message saying the female mack snows nearly dead whats THREE QUID think about it...

Im now very concerned as i only had her for one week and got her from exopet on here whom is a very respected seller. ditta from rep taxi brought all 5 mack snows to me from exopet and they have al been looked after... the female i sold u is a slightly pciky eater.. shes never ate crickets only mealies i told u this,...

I was conerned about dealing with a 17 yr old but you seemed pretty mature....

if you are serious that your female mack snow is almost dead AND thats what you wrote in your text to me then bring her back and i shal refund you and i shall talk to exopet.. she was fine when she left me on sunday to go home with you

But this better not be some dramatic reaction to me suggesting you should have paid me the full amount..

if we al allowed people to pay less than was agreed then peopel wouldnt be able to keep afloat.. I only asked for 80 pounds for the pair as thats exactly what I paid... i didnt make a penny..

I need to know if your serious about the female ... as I care a lot about my animals.. and even though she was only with me for a week i feel responsible for her

OK so i got a text now from you saying that because i mentioned the 3 quid short you over-exagerated the female being nearly dead... and that she isnt.. you said shes not eating... i explained to seperate the male and female as they had never been house dtogether before you took them.. i also suggested you try mealies and not crix as thats what she ate with me but wasnt keen on crix.. an eating issue does not constitute an animal being nearly dead!!!!

But using that to upset a person is absolutely dreadful.

Do you realise that was an extremely nasty and immature thing to do..

it already took ages to get it ( wel past the date we agreed on) and i gave you the geckos away sunday ( before payment had even cleared so how can you suggest I took advantage of you.. thats nonsense)... your parting words on sunday were.. if theres a problem with paypal tell me... then i gets an email today saying the payments been cancelled...

all i said was it was a bit off that you sent less than I even paid for them.. and you felt it was appropriate to tel me the female was nearly dead as a way to retort..

anyone on here that knows me knows i care a ot about my animals and although your female was from exopet and only with me 6 days i still care what happens to her...

that was a horrible thing to do as I was genuinely upset..

you then text me back saying you were exagerating...

I have done nothing wrong here.. but YOU pretended a female gecko was dying cos you felt i shouldnt have mentioned you OWED me 3 quid...

thats very nasty and unfair.

What a really awful thing to say

Spakrle is an excellent keeper and is a VERY fair seller - should hs ehave anything for sale, or be able to help anyone with a sale, she does and she NEVER asks anything in return. I know this due to her holding onto my hoggies of Posh for me until RT went up to collect some bits form her. I had to argue to get her to AGREE to me sending her a little something to cover her costs and even then, she said it was too much.

I think that you, Scott, should be truly ashamed at saying such a spiteful thing. Had Sparkle not responded and made it known that you had lied then not only would she have looked bad, but the reputation of the original seller would have also been tarnished. Somehitng that is not easily fixed I hope you will agree.

I would hope that you would have the common decency to publicly apologise to Sparkle over this regardless of whether you were serious or not - to say such a thing and upset someone unduly is very childish and cruel.

ok ive calmed down now and appreciate this guy is only 17... but still... exopets reputation was at risk and i spent an hour and a half being really worried... this gecko was with me 6/7 days and came from a very trusted seller... didnt you even stop to think you could have really tarnished his reputation and caused upset for me.. or was that what you were trying to do...

ive done everything i can to help you Meltos... I suggested you didnt house them together initially... and u tried the female with headless mealies.. as thats what she had been eating for me.. last night on msn u were pleased as punch... then today when i mentioned the payment was short you said i should be grateful as the female was nearly dead...

how could she have went from being ok last night to nearly dead today.. i should have realised you were lying right away...

anyway...

if there are disagreements about monies ( which in this case there should not have been as it was 80 pounds we agreed) an animals welfare should never be brought into it and used as a lie to hurt someone...

ive kept all your texts for now.. but if i was you I would rethink lying about an animal... it is not looked on kindly in the rep community... and is a terrible way to react just because i mentioned you owed me a bit extra than i received.

Sounds to me like someone spat their dummy, and it wasnt Sparkle.

Not only do people have reputations as decent, honest and reliable keepers//sellers to maintain, they also have the arduous task of identifying the timewasters and people out for a quick buck, before they come to the genuine honest buyers that can AFFORD to pay for their animals, keep their word without taking advantage of the kind naturedness of a decent, REPUTABLE, RELIABLE and GENUINE seller like Sparkle. I have done business with her many many times and she is an angel. Her animals are kept in immaculate conditions, and many forum users have seen them either in the flesh or in pictures too. Go back to PAge one of this thread, everyone was saying they look, healthy, cute and well fed. Nobody can say that they look mistreated, or that she doesnt have an excellent reputation. She's someone thats WELL LIKED around here, and respected as a member. She is also someone I mix with outside the forum and the simple fact is that they dont get nicer than Sparkle, so for someone to take advantage of that and exploit her nature is just disappointing, and something you would expect from a child, not an adult (or even a teenager).

It sickens me that people think because these transactions are online they can get away with it, or that someone wont miss a few quid. Its is even WORSE that people lay CRUEL and UNNECESSARY allegations (ie that the animal is nearly dead), in order to justify their own actions, and its not surprising that a transaction like this will be avoided at all costs by other decent caring and RESPONSIBLE keepers that dont want their animals to fall into the hands of idiots that just use and abuse their nature and reputation for the sake of self gain and immaturity.

Sending people abusive texts isnt right, tainting reputations is worse (especially when a week ago these animals were in the care of the well reputed Exopet so its not just Sparkle's reputation I refer to), and when its simply a matter of unneccesary allegations and childish behaviour coming from someone who, however young is STILL old enough to know better, then the right thing to do is say "I'm sorry that the transaction was both late and less than the agreed amount, it was the best I could do today but I'll send the rest to you as soon as I've got it rather than leave you short, especially after you were nice enough to let me take the Leo's and pay later, which are both, by the way settling in nicely, you were right when you said the female doesnt like crickets but we're working on that"

Effectively Meltos, I think that 3 quid and a few nasty comments could possibly come between you and your next RFUK purchase. Shame but an apology will probably do you a lot of favours.
