yup, my other female Ricki laid all her eggs under an unmovable hide, didn't find them until I had to change the sand. I was amazed to find them there though because that was where Phoenix my male steno lives! He must have been so careful not to have damaged the eggs while he was in there and considering he'd spend weeks just hidden away in that hide...just amazing that none showed any sign of damage. And then when I did lift the hide he joined Ricki (my female) in trying to bury the exposed eggs again!

True, my first three that were put up for sale were snapped up so if the rest do too I'll be breeding my lot again next year - hopefully with a fancy new vivarium stack for them all too. Started keeping my eyes open for another CB male but I haven't seen any available for ages!

well i did have 8 steno's, but a couple died this year at different times. They were wc so you never know how old they are i guess. It was sudden so i assumed natural causes, they were eating fine and behaving fine.
I hatched 4 last year, but had some eggs die due to that heat wave.
I separated the males and females this year. But i only have 2 females now anyway.
Their all back in together again now, the males are'nt interested in breeding.
They all just potter about and eat and sleep. lol so cute.

Shame they're not interested in breeding I have my male living seperately on his own for now. It looks as if it has done the females a lot of good not having him there chasing them around Don't like him being all lonely though, hoping that one of my three hatchlings turns out to be a male so he can have some company
