That's cool, I'm considering switching to ceramics for the geckos new vivarium rather than a bulb but that would leave the tank dark so I might try the energy saver bulbs to give a bit of light. Would use a heatmat but I have the sand too deep
Yeh the energy ones are good for the day night cycle, yet let off little heat. (if you get the right ones)
