These might be stupid questions but I'd like to ask anyway as I know very little about water dragons
Do females get the 'spikes' down their backs too?
I assume the green colouration is used as camoflaugue (sp?) what about the red chin? Is that something to do breeding condition, do just mature males get red chins?
Sorry if they sound like dumb questions but I've never kept them and would like to learn more about them.

Females do get some spikes no where near as large as males though and the heads of females are smaller.
The colours must give some type of camoflaugue effect in the wild but im not sure about the chin I know Zhens was more orange as a youngster but now its more Red/Pink
