thanks, it was a tiny lettle fellow, gorgeous creature.the last one may not be a great pic, but it was a great animal. our guide spotted it whilst we were going upriver at some speed, so only got a few shakey pics.

i think those gecko's may do quite well in captivity. small (3" max) active, diurnal, sexually dimorphic and very prolific, so also common in the wild. only slight downfall is the fact that males dont really like each other, and they are a little fragile. still, best in the wild where they are meant to be!

thats the best part of these trips.
having seen the biotope in which boa's live has given me lots of ideas for natural vivariums. it also gives me a new found thought on wild caught animals. now they should only be purchased as a last resort. one boa taken out of the wild can impact the rest of the ecosystem in huge ways. Alex
