true the vets would be usless and i dnt know much about leopard geckos but i m sure if it was a paradox spot it should of bin there from a baby and would not progress so rapidly and its ok i dnt mind lol

he shed today, and sister said he didnt eat it, but that there was no marks left on it.

Unfortantly I have been ill so not been able to check on him !

now if it is colouring then its potentil is very exciting, a pure black leo would be soooo cool! even the black velvet isnt pure black as you can still see black spots, but still gorgous tho!

Yes, I belive the black velvets are a result of enlarged and multiplied black dots, or what i would call the top coat. This covers the yellow base coat.

What seems to be happening with mine is its the base coat that is changing!

how old is he/she? think it will change much more?

well we got pure wites from a normal (eventually yes i know took a hella long time) so i dont see why not pure blacks, at least you may have a good starting point

no exact age, my best guess is about 4-5 months old, maybe a little more, he is 48g
