but if it were nothing, it would not be black ! so its something, just dont know what.

It was not present at hatching, and apparently not seen when the leo was checked prior to shipping to hamm.

ok first there is a leo called black velvet which the black on ur leo looks like that also reptile can change colour over time

coudl be a birthmark that spreds with age - like humans, but you never know, looks great though!!!

It doesnt look like a black velvet it looks like a hypo with a black patch. The black velvet is produced by dark normals being bred to produce more dark normals and so forth. This to me looks like something in a totally different ball park.
