went into my room today and found my new salvator taking life easy and having a little dip in his pool! couldn't resist taking a few pics!

he's not overly comfortable with handling. he bites me every time without fail. the amount of time he holds on for is getting less every time and he seems to have worked out already i won't leave him alone even if he bites, and i've only had him a week!
he then spends about 10 seconds gaping his mouth open at me but then calms down after a couple of minutes of wriggling! Once he's calm you can stroke him on the head! i'm really happy i got him and can't wait for him to get big! i've got a nice 8 x 4 planned for him will a big pond too!

Sounds familier ,they are great animals though eh? so much more attractive than niles ,in shape that is.......G

yeah they're far more streamlined, look like a proper monitor! don't think i could put up with the biting never stopping that you'd probably have with a nile!
