do i maybe need another bulb then its a white 100w but i only have the one, been trying for 5 days to get the right temps now

Well it does sound like you will need another one. A 4x2 with a BD was my first ever foray into the reptile world and that is what they sold me as part of the setup. Better to get the reflector bulbs though in case it makes the cool end too hot.

yes i know right well the temps are now 95 hot end and 85 cool end so with one ore spot light put in there that shold get me to my 110 basking temp, well lets hope so and thats what im going to try

You'll need to be careful your cool end doesn't get above that 85, so have the bulbs reasonably close to the hot end. You need to create a basking area to cover lizard from snout to vent. It seems surprising to me your cool end is as hot as 85 with just one bulb?

yes well i have change it abot now and got a cool end of 79f anf hot end 95 so with the new spot light shold get that extra 10f to get basking at 110f

Sounds like more of a gradient now. You may well find a temp gun good for reading actual basking site temps as the digital in/outs only measure the ambient temp.
