Default Leo Shedding Question

I hava had my leos for about a month now, they all seem to be shedding fine so far.

I would just like to know, how do i tell if one is having problems shedding on its toes, they are so tiny and white anyway, does it really stand out??

Also Today I noticed one of them is peeling, do i just leave it and keep an eye on it, or is it best to assist it? I did try putting him in the moist hide, but he kept getting out. lol

I dont normally see them shed, its normally done over night. so didnt know if this was cause for concearn.

Just leave them to it, its amazing the positions they get themselves into to pull it off lol. You will notice if there's any left, when i first got mine she had a tiny bit of shed left on her eyelid. Obviously she couldn't get this last bit off herself so i got a cotton wool bud and soeaked it in warm water, then gently stroked at the bit of skin (you have to be patient and just keep at it) and it finally just peeled off.

If after a day or two (of her 'peeling') if she still has bits on her then it's probably best to aid her/him. Do as i said before, cotton wool bud in warm water and just gently soak/stroke the bit of skin until it comes off.
If its on the toes, then make her/him a bath, but make sure the water only just covers their feet, you only want it very shallow, and let her soak. If this isn't helping you can mist them, or basically get a squirty water bottle and spray them with water.

Make sure they have a moist hide and something that they can actually rub themselves against to help peel it off. =)

Sometimes you see them do it, sometimes you don't! Just best to keep an eye out for any little bits left over when you notice them going pale and then they're suddenly colourful again. They shed naturally so they will trydo it in their own time, don't try and force them to shed because it won't work.

Thanks everyone.

They have been shedding fine up until now and i was a bit worried as i hadn't seen them in shed before.

Since I posted this morning he has fully shed and now all is well.

by the way they have a moist hide in there 24/7, an old cricket tub filled with damp moss.

Thanks again
