i agree that all stock has come from somewhere but at the moment the slow worm population need to recover naturally so as not to breed out hardy traits in wlid slow worms . there is at the moment only one site in the whole of cheshire that has slow worm population and that is an allotment site
i didnt mean to sound condesending but there are enough captive bred animals out there to allow us as pet owners to enjoy them ,slow worms do not fare well in captivity at the moment so we should wait until they are safe in the wild before we tame them
please note this is just my opinion and i doent mean to offend anyone
