One shop is telling me 6months and another shop is saying a every year to change the UV strip light in my beardies tank. I think ive had him just over 6months..dunno...gonna have to look into that. I have no money to buy one of those things aswell as a new light to check if its still working.
looks a little dull to me but am I right in thinking the light wont dim at all when its going...you wouldnt be able to tell but the nutrients it gives out wont come out anymore? and they have to be changed eveyr 6months?

someone told me if you look at your UV light through a digital camera and you see wavey lines then its still putting out UV! is this true or a load of rubbish?

I dunno about that. I found out I had him on the 12/07/07
so a little while to go till 9months is up but may aswell get him one out oif this money?
Anyway as you know he will only eat watercress and the odd chunk of apple/strawberry or whatver I decide to give him. The only thing he will eat every bit of is watercress. Its nearly 3pound for a bag which is alot but its the usual price and so Steve didnt get it cos it had 2 days date left on it. but what if he eats nothing o very little now till thursday? hopefully the worms etc should be delivered then, but its from a shop that often forgets to deliver.
Im worried about him having no food for the next two days. If he is hungry enough surely he will eat the apple etc?
He needs something, cos it was all planned out, now theres no watercress hes got nothing at all!

2 days for a beardie without food? thats probably about 2 hours without food for a human.

they're designed to survive without food for a while if they need to.
