Hi mike
the new gecko came from me and was originally called uncle sam and as you know i always advise to quarentine and keep seperate as my care sheet i send detaills this as you know unfortunatly although i can advise quarentine i hope that people follow my advice however i have no control once the gecko leaves me.
I was specifically asked for a male gecko and this gecko is male and so provided what i was asked for however i understood both would be kept seperate.

As you know my husbandry standards are very high and my geckos are fed on mealworms only and therefore any problems with parasites is significally lowered because of what they are fed and all my hatchlings are kept seperate from hatch and away from any new additions i may purchase to add to my own collection.
Although i am confident there are no issues regarding parasites i am a little disappointed that the quarentine period has not been continued and not only for the parasite reason only ( i recommend every gecko should be quearntined)but for the fact he is now in with a female increases the chances of him trying to mate with a female that is far too young to breed.
so please wilkingson seperate these two geckos and if you intend to breed then it is best to wait until the female is a year old at least and weighs over 55gms.

Hi I am glad you have split them up now.
Are these your first geckos? They look lovely.
Your viv looks big what size is it?
When we first got ours there was so much to take in, the best thing I have found, is to learn as much as you can read all the books you can get hold of Google and ask any questions you need.
Good luck with them.
