Default Whats the best starter Lizard

Im looking for my first lizard im gonna have good sized area in my house that i want to use but not wanting to get anything thats gonna grow to 6ft.

What are peoples thoughts on the best starter lizard ?

Oh and i wouldnt mind have a pair also.

Most people would probably say a bearded dragon or leopard gecko

i cant praise leopard geckos enough for a first time lizard, cheap to set up, eg no uv, small, hardy, pretty and excellent temperaments

hmm beardie or crestie..

the ONLY lizard i have never been able to handle properly is a leo LOL..

im too scared i break them.. they just seem so delicate

Id say go for cresties, as long as your house doesnt get too cold then cresties dont need any extra heating or light, they are easy to handlenot too fast, and look great, along with not really needing too much space.

Oh and the jumping is well kool.

I Think beardies are one of the most active of the begginer lizards leopard gecko arnt so active being nocturnal buts that with my exsperience with leos
