alrite guys,

well some of you may know i had a big problem with one of my CWDs, well in the end after about 500 in vets bills and a spaying later shes on the road to recovery and 2 of her eggs survived and are currently 4 weeks into incubation...

well i went home for my lunch today and to my suprise (i knew she wa gravid but didnt realise how close to laying) she had already laid a load of eggs and was filing in the hole again! lol

she still looks like she has a few more to lay as shes still abit big and now theres some loose skin i can deffo feel at least 2 more eggs! im gonna dig up the eggs shes laid when i get back from work and fingers crossed she will lay the rest in the next couple of days!

i will keep you all posted!

good luck and fingers crossed! i am starting to think my female cwd is gravid. her belly is like a drum and her tail has gone a bit skinny, or it looks skinny next to her tummy! I cant feel any eggs though. how far gone should they be when you feel eggs? she has been digging alot too. i have an incubator set up all ready just in case! let us know how she gets on with the other eggs.

awww good luck and hope she lays the rest ok. im just waiitng for mine to lay her 3rd lot bless her. she struggled last time so hope she be ok this time.

from your description she deffo sounds gravid lol. sometimes you cant as i wasnt expecting my first one to lay and she did. they were never visible just by looking...

has she gone off her food? ive found they go off for a bout 2-3weeks then the week before they lay they wont eat a thing... well thats what y 2 did anyway.

all you can do is be prepared and help her as much as you can.

good look! must be the time of year! lol

FYI the other female is looking alot happier now shes had them folicle things removed and been spayed. she just needs to put abit of weight on now cos after a month or so of not eating shes looking abit anorexic! lol

well after having a good dig around in the viv she has laid 9 eggs!

deffinatly looks like she has a couple more so hopefully that will happen in the coming days!

11Wd eggs so far! god knows what im gonna do with them! lol
