Jesus, I have just noticed this thread, I can't believe the state of that poor beardie. I keep beardies myself so it made me so sad, they are so friendly and lovable. How anyone can do that to another living thing is beyond me, good on you for taking him on and all the best for the future with him.

I think he` looking a little stronger and more alert today. He`s been having warm baths in Reptiboost daily and has been drinking at the same time, which can only be good really. He`s eating little and often and seem to be picking up.
I`ve treated him for mites again and cleaned some of the gunge from round his eyes so he can see a bit better now too.

Here`s a few pics i took today to see if you think he looks any better?

Could still easily cry when i look at him. Such a shame coz he`s such a lovely natured fella.

crikey, just seen this.
I cant believe that beardie got that skinny... its mad.

He seems to be improving, he looks liek he is on the right road going by those pics.
Best of luck.

DO you have to be careful how much food you offer while he is still so thin? just wondering as i wouldnt know about that kind of thing...

How come you decided to keep him on the aspen? [assuming thats what it is]
im not anti loose substrate or anything but thought you said you might change it to make things a little easier to monitor.

I would never of paid for that guy. I would of given him 1 of 2 Choices

1)Gimme the bearded dragon
2)Get reported

If the reply was get reported, head butt, take the beardy THEN report

EDIT - Also well done for rescuing this lil guy

omg. poor little thing. I don't think i've ever seen such a thin beardie. He does look a little better in the latest pic. Well done for rescuing him and good luck with his recovery!
Did the man that had him have any other animals?
