Unhappy New Beardie.........

Well after making the decision i was having no more beardies, and managed to sell/rehome the ones i had here..... i bought a new chap today from a private advert, and i`m sure you can see why. How could i have walked away?

I know i`m too soft for my own good, He does seem to have some interest in food despite only being here for a matter of hours, which is a good sign i guess, and is quite active, but will lie on his back in my hand without struggling. Just to top it off he`s got mites too. Obviously gonna put him on paper tonight, just didn`t want to mess with him too much more than i have done already.

Thanks, at a guess he`s around 12 - 18 months, not adult but not a tiny baby.

Jesus Christ Mand, did you know the state of him before you went to have a look.
How anyone can neglect an animal to this degree is beyond me, the poor little fella!

To be honest i didn`t go to look at him, i went with a friend who was buying some equipment from the seller, i saw him and just knew i wouldn`t/couldn`t leave the house without him.

I`m just so cross, there are no excuses for letting any animal get into this state. I just hope i can turn him around.

He looks terrible - hope you can get him back to good health!

How much did you pay? Did you say anything to the owner?
