Default Where do BDs get there Calcium and Nutrobal in the wild

Just a questions really that I was hopeing some one would know the answer.

If we feed our BDs live food and greens that they would have in the wild and that are gut loaded ect and we dust them with calcium in the week and nutrbol at weeks, where do they get this from in the Wild?

In the wild the soil is naturally rich in calcium so as the plants grow they take it in.

And also, Bearded dragons don't live half as long in the wild than they do in captivity.

Also, commercially available insects and the kind of greens we can provide are not a patch on those available to wild animals.

In the wild variety is the key to a full complement of vitamins and minerals.

Even the best homebred crickets/locusts/roaches etc gutloaded well etc just isnt the same as variety so we suppliment to hedge our bets

What i do is when i grow plants outside to feed my tortoises. i sprinkel limestone flour in the soil. This way the plants will take in the calcium as they grow.

I sell it on ebay eBay.co.uk Shop - Shelled Warriors: Limestone flour: Limestone flour 500g, calcium carbonate tortoise, snail

This can also be sprinkled on food, this is only calcium carbonate
