Default advice on bearded dragon

our dragon has started to stand with his head up and mouth wide open never done this before anyone no what it means or if hes ill

dont quote me on this as im new but from what i heave heard and read he is just coolig himself down thats all and its is noting to worrie about but im sure someone will tell you if i am wrong

Mine do it mate they are just simply cooling themselves off, a bit like a dog would.

Kamu - bloodred x Yellow

plus..2 leos (Fraggle & Lilly), 1 crestie (Cadbury), 1 corn (Rusty), 2 Tarantulas, 1 hamster (Nugget) and Yemen Cham (Gene)

The reason they do it is to regulate their body temperature. It could be they are to cold or to hot. Dont worry about it.

just to point out..
this is normal behaviour usually associated with whilst basking/in the warm end...
whilst stannding/sitting still.

If the same behaviour is shown excessively or more often than not whilst the beardie is in the cool end, or whilst obviously making an effort to escape the viv, then you know it is infact soemthing to worry about and may be the viv overheating.

Just stating the obvious really.
