Question Cannabis/hemp bedding? What do we think?

just wondering what the opinion of this substrate is, especially for cresties/humid tanks.

also, if the rating of this is poor, what does everyone else find best for substrate for creaties?

thanks,
x

i knew that, but whilst looking at online shops there wer hemp and cannabis beddings, now considering cannabis is illegal, im guessing its actually hemp, but put both names incase someone used one and not the other...

ive got kitchen towel in there at the moment, as mine are 4, 6, 8, and 8 and a bit weeks old. was just planning ahead for when they're bigger and go into their big home, i want it to look natural.

Anyone who's thinking of using hemp might be interested to know that a tortoise has recently died through ingesting a piece of hemp which passed right through the wall of his gut. It's also been reported that it can cause nasty external cuts and scratches to eyes.

Definitely not something I'd ever consider using for my geckos and it's now been removed from my tortoise table too.

For my crestie I use kitchen roll with areas of spagnum moss kept damp.
