Have you tried bathing it very gently with warm water? Obviously you need to treat the underlying cause but that would always be my first response to eye problems in humans or animals - that said I'm not qualified in anyway other than some serious first aid training and observing veterinary practice. It could just be that it got some dust in there - does it look swollen? Is there any discharge? Photographs might help.

leos (and all other reptiles) can get conjunctivitis.
WIth leos this is a lot of times caused by stuck shed in the eye which start to irritate the eye. Water isn't the best thing to use since this dries out the eyes and makes it harder for them to heal but rosewater is a good thing to use try to see if you can get the eye open by very gently going over it with a cotton bud soaked in rose water. these things don't usually heal by themselves so best thing to do is go to the vet who can give you an eye ointment. |
