hi all, just thort id show you my new viv, i converted an old wardrobe into a viv for a Trimor Monitor which i got today

heres the pics and a quick step by step guide......

Stage 1 - after removing the doors and placing it on its side, i cut a big piece of polystyrene to fit the back wall (also cut to smaller pieces to fit the sides)..........




Stage 2 - With the polystyrene left i cut them into random blocks of a number of different shapes and sizes.........



Stage 3 After messing around with the blocks and choosing where i wanted them, i pinned them in place with nails, then secured them using expanding foam, i also added 2 plant pots (one at each end) and secured them also with expanding foam.





Stage 4 - After leaving the expanding foam to dry i added the 1st of 3 coats of tile grout.




Stage 5 - i added the tongue and grove which i used for glass runners, aswell as the inside electrics.





Stage 6 - I applied two coats of yatch varnish, to the tile grout and a single coat to all unprotected wood


Stage 7 - i added the substrate, water bowl, uvb light, vent, glass doors and anythign else i wanted to include such as plastic grass.

Thanks, im really happy with it, i used to coats of yacht varnish to seal it all and its given it this fantastic green tint, it looks better then i ever thort it would

TBH it doesn't take that much time, that took me about, 1week with on/off work and a few trips to b&q , most of the time is waiting for things to dry lol
