I would say every 3-4 weeks (as this is what mine seem to do) obviously more when younger and less when older as they're growing more.

I tried my little (suspected 1-2 month) super in a big viv when my mack went off for mating and he became very skittish and never came out of a hide. I since put him back in a smaller rub and he's out all the time and stopped being skittish gone back to being lovely, inquisitive etc.

He may be a little scared that you're going to hurt him at such a young age i can't imagine him being THAT used to people yet, so long as you remain gentle and pick him up correctly it shouldn't matter too much.

Remember wax worms should be given as a rare treat though as they're not very good for leo's as such, great for putting on weight but not good for anything else and then they also stop feeding on anything else. Meal worms or crickets/locusts are fine though

at that age you should expect him to shed every 14 days or so as long as he's eating well, he may be a little overwhelmed if he's in a big viv though, he'd be better in a smalish one with three sides blanked out, how long have you had him as it takes a while for them to settle in too, hope you dont keep him on sand either, does he have a heat mat and what temp is it? it should be 30c day and night

Leo's temps in the hot end should be around 90F so turning it up could help a bit

In the hot end, where the heat mat is.

Is the heat mat covering about 1/3 of the viv?

If you rest it ontop of the substrate where the leo will be actually on it will give you a far more accurate gauge on what temps the leo is experiencing.

You need to take him out of a large viv he will end up not eating as the area is to large for him to hunt.
Also please please take him off of wood chippings, he should be on kitchen roll.
What other food are you offering him?
Wax worms can be very adictive to leos, they dont get many vits from waxies as they are basically like chocolate to leos.
He should be feeding on mealies, crickets or locusts every day.
The probe for the mat needs to be on top of the kitchen roll and on top on the heat mat.
