Default Thinking of tiling My Beardies vivs
Hi Guys

was just wondering those of you who have tiled beardie vivs

what tiles did you use?

where from ?

and can anyone send me any good links to the ideal tiles?

i want something that is not going to be too slippy something they can grip with and walk on easily

I used ceramic floor tiles. They were from Wickes I think. Dont get the shiny ones though, the ones I used had a sort of rough feel.
I also used vinyl tiles which I found easier as there werent any little gaps for crix to hide in.

im thinking about doing it, the rough ones, available at B&Q for a couple of quid, dont know of a link, sorry, these are not slippy at all they are rough, ideal for beardies, if you go on hadesdragons gallery he has pics if you wanted pics?

I just used quite heavy broken peiced tiles. No sharp edges etc which i got from a rep store and put it together like a mosaic.

Then in between dusted with play sand. Kept it realistic to natural environment, minimal sand so impaction wouldn't occur and also looked quite nice too

For my adult beardies i use some cheap tiles that i can remove to clean etc. and have news paper under neath. problem is. if they go toilet on the tiles, and im not there to clean it, they tend to run over it and smear it everywhere. not a nice thing to clean.
