Cheers mate, i think you can make it a sticky by reporting it for a sticky, if you click the report button and say you want it stickying and why i think it works.. Never done it though.

fantastic post only yesterday did i see my beardie eye bulging i have to admit it worried me didnt even know it was possible.

On the tail curling i've seen my beardies curl their tail upwards a few minutes before having a particularly large poo, not sure if this is the same thing as you were reffering to but could be a reason for it.

Also ive heard when head bobbing is accompanied by arm waving is to determine dominance (generally by the more dominant of the two). I noticed this alot when my beardies where babies and in the same tank. but even since seperating them they still establish their dominance over their reflections

oh and sticky! - because it seems to be the done thing.

I just have a question on one behavior of my beardie. She/He seems to like to prop itself up on the side of the cage and bend its back in, this is an awkward position and kinda worries me a little. I have no idea what he/she is doing.. maybe looking at his/her reflection? Also, I'd like to add that I just put up some new background if that information helps at all.

I will try my best to get this in action so you guys can have an image as a reference.

Thanks ahead of time!

Right matey, few quick questions so we can establish whats happening fully.

Your beardie is coming to the side of the viv and bending its back in? As if its stretching?

Is this to the side with the glass or the wooden bit?

It could just feel comfy in this position i know they sleep in the weirdest and most awkward looking spots sometimes!

Well to be exact i'll state what happens:

- He/she walks over to the side of the cage (Usually already there when I walk into my room).
- He/she then bends it's back in on the bottom of the back, toward where the tail meets the legs and the body, but above the legs.
- He/she just chills there for a bit and whenever I leave and then come back in he/she seems fine and just hangs out basking or going on with it's activities.

Its on the hot side where I have the basking light but I've also seen it done in the cool side, I dont see it's eyes closed at all so I doubt its sleeping..

Not had any experience of that as such but I'd imagine it would be showing slight discomfort, so not REALLY annoyed or cold but nearly.

Sounds to me just like a bit of a stretch and a comfy position for it for a while.

hehe, sounds like a good explanation considering it doesn't seem in pain or anything. Thanks for the help!
