Default my beardie....

my Spyro is about 6-7 months old and I am feeding him 3-4 Large locusts per day and giving him his greens as I should, although top part of his body is looking very thin... it's kinda got wrinkles on it as if he hasn't got enough food in him. He doesn't poop out of the ordinary either... I can't work out if he is meant to be like this or not?! I've also noticed when i've come in from work recently he is always lying down as if he has no energy?? Can't even put it down to old age! lol

Thanks guys

My beardie is the same, has the wrinkles and is lazy.

I think that is just their nature and the wrinkles will disappear once they start getting fat lol.

Are you feeding your beardie until it won't eat any more or are you only feeding it 4 a day as a rule? Because really, he is only young so you should be feeding him as much as he can eat in 15 mins

They don't usually eat more than they can when they are young as they only have small stomachs. Limiting live food when he reaches adulthood is necessary but not right now, unless he is eating excessively, like more than 100+ crickets etc lol.

Our beardie only eats about 15 at the most in one sitting, he's so lazy he can't be bothered to hunt the food down, he'd rather just eat it off tweezers
