leo feeding help
both my new girls seem perfectly happy together but i think only one may be eating i have had them for six days and they both look as healthy as when they first came maybe both are eating but i watch for nearly an hour to two nightly and they have mealworms but neither eats while i'm watching again both appear healthy but i need to be sure both are eating do you think they would be more agressive towards crickets? just need some help

I weigh mine and hand feed them the odd mealie just to check they feeding. I just leave a bowl of mealies in the tank with them and they poop ok so know that they are feeding

You might want to try offering a variety of foods instead of just mealies, I have 2 that wont touch them, 1 who will only eat locusts and 1 who will only eat crickets!!! (Fussy so & so's!). Also, maybe try hand feeding to get her interested or put her in a RUB to feed. At least this way you know she's eating.

What makes you think only 1 is eating if you`ve not seen either of them eating? If it comes down to it, as a last resort, you could seperate them to be 100% sure. Wouldn`t worry too much though if they both appear healthy and don`t seem to be losing weight. Does it look like the mealworms are going down in the dish?

yeah I count them and change them every night usually 8 to 10 are gone out of 20

That doesn`t sound too bad, seeings as they are prob still settling in. If you want to see them eating, then your best bet is to try wax worms or locust. 95% of leos can`t resist waxies, and most leos are just instinctively stimulated by the sight of a locust (think it`s the way they move!). Worth a try anyway - good luck.
