Default asian water monitor keepers

hi just a wee question do you think its a good idea to

some monitors will never like to be picked up and i would always use tongs to feed as you dont want a 6 ft + monitor attacking your hand when they are powerful enough to take your fingers off

Always use tongs or forceps to feed and i would disagree with "wrapping" it in a towel and sitting until it tames down , you probably would end up stressing it so much it would be petrified , Handel it by all means but NOT bound so it cant move , these monitors usually are quite shy as babies but do accept you as they mature so patience and more patience is required
