Default Bearded dragon vs sand

Ok I want to know if I would be ok putting 2 bearded dragons, the youngest being 6 months old into into a viv with play sand, the sort you get from B n Q for childs sand pit things. As i currently have laminate flooring in my viv and would would like to add in sand in 2 months or so when my youngest will be around 6 months old.
Thanks...

Mine do not go on sand, but people who do usually wait until beardies are atleast 12 months so they have had time to hone their hunting skills.

You also want to think about getting another viv. You cannot keep those beardies together for much longer...you may or may not know that beardies have been known to become sexuali mature at 7 months old...males can be younger....I would advise you to think about seperating these soon. Female can become egg bound and die and it can also have negative affects on the male too.

Just a bit of advise.

Agreed...otherwise you are asking for trouble. Still tho I would not put them on sand until they are older....I guess its personal taste...but best option is no sand at all!

Don't think they're supposed to have hides?

Also if he "has the horn" you need to seperate them as the female is not old enough to mate.

P.S. Sorry if I've got the wrong end of the stick, your comment above has confused me lol.
