yeah a pic would be good. the only prob with play sand is the risk of impaction is high with leos

To combat that, i feed them on a plastic tray. I think theres chance of compaction on anything isnt there?! Im up for a suggestion though for a better substrate!!

yeah any loose substrate there is a chance of impaction thats why we dont use a loose one. alot of ppl use real slate kitchen floor tiles and they look amazing. also there is a clay substrate out there which is as near to their natural substrate as u can get but it is a bit pricy

yeah u just cut them to size. thing is with the slate bein natural and bumpy u dont really notice the joins but i know some ppl put sand in the joins
