Hey All

Last weekend i bought some small mealworms for Louis my beardie.

He LOVES them, too much infact. Now when I feed him crickets hes not really interested. He just sits back by his food bowl where the worms are, almost begging for more? I only bought the really small mealworms. He has quite a few a day from his bowl.

I bought black crickets this time, is there any chance he prefers the brown ones? It was all the shop had at the time.

Any thoughts? Im worried hes not getting all the nutrition he needs without eating the cricks?

Your right....... mealworms aren't nutritional enough for a balanced diet and they are very hard for beardies to digest. I would stop giving them to him for a while and get him back on to crickets...... try locusts now and again for a treat

Yeah I thought that might be the case. Hes not loving the cricks at the moment, little bugger!
