I use Nutrobal which is a vitamin supplement with calcium for 2 days of the week (most people use it weekends)

and just a plain old calcium powder the rest of the week.

The vitamin powder contains both calcium and d3 vitamins but it is better to use seperate solutions so you know exactly how much your leo is getting. Leo's can overdose on calcium and d3.

I use Nutrobal (calcium and vitamins) twice a week and Calypso (pure calcium) 3 times a week!

ditto livefood dusted with calcium during the week (plus a dish of calcium left with the leo's all the time so if they want more they help themselves) and then the food dusted with a vitamin supplement with D3 twice a week ~ would say that whilst leo's cannot overdose on calcium they can O/D on vitamins and D3

Oh right, I was sure I read somewhere that too much calcium causes the leo to produce calcium deposits. Sorry if I was wrong, I didn't mean to give misleading advice...!

I'm not sure but I think it's cresties that can have a problem with excess calcium ~ leo's can store calcium in sacs (usually females) but from what I've checked there isn't any prob with this as leo's can poop excess calcium out.
