Default Skittish geckos and cleaning!

Hey all! i have just got two palm geckos and they are SOOO fast that i daren't try to get them out of the viv in case they make a break for it... (one has already almost escaped when he was being put in!lol!)

Does anyone know of any disinfectants that i can use to clean the viv with the animals still in? i already have F10 and Tamodine-e, could either of these be diluted down enough?

also, for ease of cleaning, would either of these be ok for spot cleaning in my chams and/or BRB?

cheers all!

You should put them into empty cricket tubs, you can just poke them until they run in and then put the lid on. This is what I used to do, now I've stopped being a wimp and I pick them up instead

lol thats a nice idea hun but ive seen these in the flesh - you have NO chance of picking these guys up! if your spraying their viv and you get a drop of water on them its like watching a loose bullet ricoshaying around the place... although the tub idea is a good one but will require some careful manovering me thinks

Yeah you can use diluted f10 with the palm geckos in the viv if you are just going to wipe around, use kitchen roll to mop up any excess though and dilute alot. When you've finished ensure air can circulate. f10 is good coz its biodegradable etc. and shouldn't do any damage providing your geckos aren't eating the stuff.
