Default New to reptiles

I`m hoping to get a beardie soon when i can afford it. They look cool and so nice i never thought about getting one till a saw cooljules beardies. Now im lookin at gettin a viv and a dragon my self but i dont know weather to get a young one to see it grow or a older one??? so many questions i have. But i first need is a viv a decent sizt and the lights and stuff for him or her. What is best male or female

Don't quote me but I'm sure males live slightly longer and in my opinion seem more active. Also females lay unfertilised eggs so that also has to be accounted for. They are great and it's well worth getting one.

sex doesnt matter really (well it does to me hahhahahaaaaa)

ok viv size, min of 4x2x2

what you do, is have a nice hot side.....and a cool side. with UV tube.

you feed them insects, and veg...and give vit and calcium powders..

i can show you all this (been waitng all afternoon!!) hehe

i lent someone one of my books...

there are shops in sheff that sell them, closest to you is the snake shop

of make your own viv...its simple

you popping up in a bit?

oh charlie the ferret is eating, just had chick n mouse...and lorna is making duck soup

well i got a female i did have a male for a week and he was more active but im cant comment on it really, but i got a adult i never had a baby one but i think it would be fun watching it grow they tend to eat alot when babys and need live food my adult eats mostly greens and have live food some times.
i know alot of people on here could help with the set-up what u need i they need a heat light a UV light that needs to be changed every 6 months and bits and bob to go in the viv, there is alot more but there is a bit for you some one will be here to help you.

well i wont to learn as wife is caving in slowly lol so hopefully little fella on way in few months

think i`d like a baby to watch it grom and get used to us lol I have so many questions live colours i know there are morphs think id like a male tho

they grow quick. but tiny ones are harder to catch etc...and a youngish half sized one, is nice size, gets bigger and will sit watching tv..

cool dont supose you got a spare viv jules you wont to sell??? only jokin pal half size one will be ok if thats what you adivice.

i am out of space as is it, waiting for some coming myself thats been donated..

not too hard to make one, i dont go for looks, as im crap at diy, and need them secure and work ok

pop up later if you can.

got a mouthful of friggin turtle tank water and it stinks and tastes bad!

i got mine at 18months...i heared its hard getting babies to feed so..i'd get one afew months or one that eats ^.^
