Just to add to all that, this is pretty much what I said to you via PM:

I wouldn't pay any more than I would for a non-GG unless you saw both parents and both were 22"+...

The label isn't really useful anymore, as the days of "giant" beardies sadly seem to have passed. You might want to read this post for a bit more detail on my personal thoughts on them:

http://www.reptileforums.co.uk/2036612-post2.html

Essentially, unless you see with your own eyes that the parents are large enough to warrant the "Giant" tag, think of them as being normal beardies, and pay normal beardie prices for them.

There are still a few large dragons out there that may be worthy of being called "giant", but the majority of dragons advertised as "giant" won't get significantly larger than normal beardies. This is especially true if they are coloured; the original German Giants were very dull, plain colours; if an advertised "giant" is also described as being a colour, it means that the "giant" line will have been crossed with a coloured one at some point, which will dilute any "giant" genes even further...

Thats; why ours are advertised as GG becasue they are my lines go back well past 12 years but have been bred via myself working in import many years ago i was one of the first to see GG and beardies being imported.

Ours are not colurful but are bred to be sound but then after 23 years working with these reptiles one line I can assure.

Theres a few stories around the GG gene most prob true which i woud assume seeing the first GG's coming in to import was a P bararata intergrade where we still have very very dark babies crop up

There is a difference visually most GG's will ahve flatter more triangluar heads often with light eye's fairl plain colcours, I've never managed to produce a red for example wven if x bred they are grumpy and aloof and tend to lay a lot of eggs my female can lay without even looking gravid they are very densly bones
