Default How long out of the Viv?

Hi all; I was wondering how long do people let their beardies out of the viv for? My house is very warm and well insulated, even in winter. I let Drax into the lounge for quite long periods, just wondering what other people do? Strangely enough, he seems to make for the fireplace and curls up in the grate!!!

depends on each BD, i know some make where own way back..

i usually say until if curls up asleep hidden somewhere and falls asleep, i guess its ok for the night out asleep and put back in viv in the morning.

my female would stay out all day, she doesnt care my male however, 5 mins and he's had enough! he'll jump back in by himself i wouldnt advise letting it out for the night if you have beds and things it could hide under as it may wake up in the night and wander off udner it, also dont sleep next to them, you may roll over and kill them. it wouldnt kill them being too cold, i have no heating in the vivs at night, so its only the same temp as my room.

when mine come out, they go for a walk and then find somewhere to have a sleep. They arnt that great at finding home again. I usually let them sleep for a hour and put them back.

i know people who do the same, but all in big living rooms...finds a secure place to sleep.

i find, if they try to sleep or hide in the day, then its a bit too cool
years ago i had a hot spot area set up, and my Igs would go and chill there (well bask, but chill out)

Drax is about one now, I think. Yah, when he was younger I would put him back in the viv as soon as he felt cooler.
