I've tried putting meal worms in dishes for my leo's but they never go near the bowl

I've tried feeding them meal worms normally and they just ignore them usually as the worms don't move fast enough to attract their attention.

I know lots of people use mealies as a staple successfully and that's great if they eat them (I think my leo's are just weird!!)

So for that reason I give them a varied diet of crickets, locusts, roaches & morio worms.

I feed mealworms exclusively to all my geckos from hatching, and have never had any problems. In fact they seem to thrive on them.

A lot of the bigger breeders feed mealworms to their entire colony (Ron Tremper for one!).

I find them convenient and don't have to worry about leaving crickets in the cages.

Your leos need to go for counselling/reprogramming!

You'd think the leo's would eat them the same as other food wouldn't you! I don't understand why they won't eat them, it'd be much easier then horrible crickets and jumpy locusts!
