Just have a hot water bottle (not too hot obviously) and wrap a towel around it and place it under his tank.
Either that or put the heat on in your car really.
Or you could use one of those handwarmer things.

Can you get like temp heat mats or something??

If you're going in a car with the heating on he'll be fine. You'll have more trouble overheating than underheating tbh. You can get heat packs from various reptile websites if you're really worried, or put a hot water bottle in near him.

In the weather at the moment I would just pop him in a small box (Cricket tub if he's small enough) lined with kitchen roll and with kitchen roll he can hide under too and he should be fine. This is how I transport mine to and from uni (About an hours drive)
