Default substrate problem

gizmo my cwd ate a big chunk of substrate whilst munching a pinkie, will it come out ok? he is 15" long and the substrate was about 2cm squared

oh frig i dont actually know the name of it but it is dark brown n would remind me of wood-chippings

ahh how does he look? you could have a poke around in on his tummy and see if you can feel it or where it is. keep a close eye on his behaviour...

he seems to be fine but hasnt passed anything for ages, is their anything i could do to maybe speed things up? i cant give him a bath cuz he hates it, hes a wee weirdo, cant feel any lumps in his tummy

how long hasnt he passed anything for??? You could probably try massaging his tummy, make sure he gets his fluids down him. even lubricating some livefood with cod liver oil could do the trick.

if he seems fine then thats a good sign but do keep an eye on him - you will be able to tell.

no matter how big is it, it could still cause problems within your rep. it may be blocking him which is why he may be struggling to pass anything. if it does not clear up within 24 hours you should definitly have him seen by a vet.
